These courses are in the nature of dedicated training prepared in response to commissions received from different units in public administration. After making further checks regarding the precise expectations, the OKU team draws up a proposal as regards trainer, programme and form that best meets the specific needs of those making the request. These training courses are only open to groups of participants designated by the unit commissioning the training.

Closed training also includes grant-aided courses, as well as those addressed exclusively to the Civil Services Corps and commissioned by the Head of the Civil Service within the framework of the plan for so-called Central Training.

2023 saw 122 training courses of a closed profile run for 2343 participants. Some 44 of these courses (with 784 participants) were of the Central Training type.
