ZINTEGROWANI – Shaping management skills in Integrated Territorial Investements Associations (ZIT)

Project purpose

The main objective of the project "Shaping management skills in ZIT Associations – Integrated (pilot)" is to strengthen the potential for effective management, communication and partnership cooperation between local governments forming Integrated Territorial Investment Associations (ZIT). The operational goal of the project is the development of management skills, learning the principles of building team effectiveness and training in effective managerial behaviour of representatives of self-governments forming ZIT. 

Beneficiaries

The addressees of the project are local government units – municipalities forming part of the Integrated Territorial Investment Associations (ZIT). Project participants will be representatives of the ZIT managing or coordinating staff, being part of the ZIT team in the office, showing the need to develop skills and improve knowledge in the field of management. 

Description

The project consists of a managerial skills training programme and a series of study visits. Training sessions are designed to support the representatives of local governments forming ZIT in the development of management skills, learning the principles of building team effectiveness and training in effective managerial behaviours. Training sessions will be accompanied by a series of study visits, carried out by the MFiPR as well as other activities supporting the project implementation (e.g. online meetings and training sessions).

In 2024, the first pilot edition is planned to provide training for two groups of 20 participants. After the completion of the first edition, an evaluation of the project implementation is to be carried out and the programme of the next editions will be updated and adapted to the needs of the next editions and their participants.
